PDS has association with both of these organisations and Janet is proud to be a member of both the UKA (since 1996) and IDTA ( 2009) she is a fellow of both associations, and is a former Examiner of the UKA.

We would recommend both associations to anyone wishing to train for the profession.



The British Dance Council was formed in 1929.

The aim of the founders of the Council was to establish a coordinating organisation to enable teachers to work together on uniform lines.


PDS is registered with BDC and Janet is proud to say she has held a Championship Adjudicators Licence with the BDC for a number of years.
